4. Quotes and Pricing

- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated

- Final pricing will be confirmed in a written service agreement
- Prices are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KSh) unless otherwise specified
4.2 Pricing Structure
- Design fees may be charged as a flat fee, hourly rate, or percentage of project cost
- Furniture, materials, and contractor costs are separate from design fees

- All prices exclude applicable taxes unless otherwise stated
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Payment Schedule
- Deposit: A deposit (typically 50% of design fees) is required to commence work
- Progress Payments: Additional payments may be required at project milestones
- Final Payment: Remaining balance is due upon project completion
- Payment terms will be specified in your service agreement
5.2 Payment Methods
- We accept M-Pesa, bank transfer, or cash payments
- Payment details will be provided upon agreement
- Work will not commence until the required deposit is received
6. Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your space, preferences, and budget
- Grant access to the property for site visits, measurements, and installations
- Make timely decisions and approvals to keep the project on schedule
- Make payments according to the agreed schedule
- Obtain necessary permits or approvals from relevant authorities
- Ensure the property is ready for work (e.g., cleared spaces, utilities available)
7. Design Process and Approvals
7.1 Design Development
- We will present design concepts, mood boards, and material selections for your approval
- Revisions are included up to a specified number (typically 2-3 rounds) as per your agreement
- Additional revisions beyond the agreed number may incur extra charges
- Your approval of designs is required before proceeding to procurement or implementation
7.2 Changes and Modifications
- Changes to approved designs may result in additional fees and timeline adjustments
- We will communicate the impact of changes on cost and schedule before proceeding
- Client-requested changes after procurement has begun may not be fully refundable
8. Timeline and Delays
- Project timelines are estimates and may vary based on complexity, client responsiveness, and external factors
- Delays caused by client decisions, approvals, or site unavailability may extend the timeline
- Delays caused by suppliers, contractors, or circumstances beyond our control are not our responsibility
- We will communicate any significant timeline changes promptly
9. Intellectual Property
- Design concepts, drawings, and plans created by us remain our intellectual property
- Upon full payment, you receive a license to use the designs for your specific project
- Designs may not be reproduced, modified, or used for other projects without our written consent
- We may use project images for our portfolio and marketing (with your consent)
10. Third-Party Services and Products
- We may recommend or coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors
- We are not responsible for the quality, delivery, or performance of third-party services or products
- Contracts with third parties (contractors, suppliers) are separate from our design agreement
- We will assist in resolving issues but are not liable for third-party failures
11. Cancellation and Refunds
11.1 Client Cancellation
- If you cancel before work commences, the deposit may be refundable minus any costs already incurred
- If you cancel after work has commenced, you are responsible for payment of work completed to date
- No refunds are provided for completed work or purchased materials
11.2 Our Cancellation
- We reserve the right to cancel a project due to non-payment, breach of agreement, or other reasonable circumstances
- In such cases, you will be charged only for work completed to date
12. Limitation of Liability
- Our liability is limited to the value of fees paid for our design services
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- We are not responsible for construction defects, installation errors, or damages caused by contractors
- We recommend hiring qualified contractors and obtaining appropriate insurance
13. Warranty and Guarantees
- We guarantee our design work meets professional standards
- Furniture and materials are covered by manufacturer warranties where applicable
- We will address design-related issues that arise within a reasonable timeframe
- Warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, accidents, or modifications by others
14. Dispute Resolution
In case of any disputes:
- Contact our team first to resolve the issue amicably
- If unresolved, disputes will be handled through mediation
- These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya
- Courts in Nairobi, Kenya shall have jurisdiction
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Existing projects will continue under the terms agreed at project commencement.
